Elisabeth Leerssen — FOUNDER

With nearly six years in the running at Pale Studio, Elisabeth leads the way in designing patterns, conducting material research, and mastering the intricacies of yarn, color, and finishing. Her role extends to sourcing quality materials, collaborating with suppliers, and overseeing the textile prototyping process in close partnership with manufacturers and clients. 

After completing her studies at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam in 2012, her career as a textile designer has spanned a range of areas, from fashion textiles to interior textiles.

Prior to establishing Pale Studio, Elisabeth held significant roles in product development at Kvadrat, Marine Serre and Études Studio. 

She has shown her dedication to the field by participating in several exhibitions. Elisabeth Leerssen’s work has been featured in exhibitions such as ‘ABSTRACTION(S), Textile et design,’ at ARCADE Design à la Campagne, and ‘RESSOURCES’ at La Biennale Émergences, among others.
